Nothing Wrong With Being A Plumber But…

So Mr. Bloomberg swoops in once again and comes to the rescue of all incompetent people in a recent article on the Daily News: Skip College and become a Plumber. He says that the people who are going to have the biggest problem are the college students who are not rocket scientists that will have harder time getting to the top. He then has a bright idea: become a plumber! He says plumbers don’t have to worry about getting outsourced or handled by computers. (At least not yet) And according to “Super Bloomberg” there are a number of studies that says plumbers start their careers with “less debt and higher wages”. You could skip school and start a trade like plumbing or electrical work. Thanks, Super Bloomberg! So I should just become a plumber and forgo any other options I had planned for myself. Of course there were no solutions as to why tuition debt is up or the fact that schooling itself is disastrous and sets you up to fail, by coercing one to be dependent instead of becoming independent but hey, Super B knows best! One thing Bloomberg did say that was true was “Not everyone has to get a college degree to get good job”. And he’s right. But by that he doesn’t expect the public to know that they can be entrepreneurs and get a education that will benefit them more than college could ever instill.

Wow, I remember this game! Classic.

History-Future History #JMT

How can the past be forgotten when history repeats itself? I guess that depends on who’s writing history. History stays with you always because you take a piece of it with you everywhere you go. In which case, situations come up to where you have to recall pieces of the past to help you in the present or in the future. So essentially the past is inevitable and you can only change the now because the future is undetermined. You can use the present for contingency only. I don’t know if the future is ever certain but I know that in order to go forward you must go backwards. Or does the future become the past and the past becomes the future? In which case the world is one big circle and we must go on this merry-go-round we call life. I don’t know. #JMT (just my thoughts)

Life is a series of avoiding horrible situations until ultimately you’re dead.
